Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are small injections of gel, typically made up of hylauronic acid, that fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. They restore lost volume to your face and plump areas, so that deep-set lines are smoothed. As we get older our bodies stop producing collagen and elastin, both of which contribute to the youthful look. They last between 6 – 18 months.

Lip Filler

Cheek Filler/ Contouring

Undereye/ Teartrough Filler

In the lip areas, dermal fillers can plump, hydrate, give fuller looking lips, smooth out lip wrinkles and correct asymmetry.

Cheek fillers raise the volume in the area around the cheek bone, giving a more defined and contoured appearance.

Dermal filler is injected to the tear trough (the area between the lower eyelid and upper cheek) to treat hollowness and dark circles. May need a second session.

Anti Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections cause muscle relaxation thereby treating wrinkles as well as preventing them. This is done by injecting neurotoxin (the active anti-wrinkle treatment) in the affected areas by a tiny needle in small amounts. Effects take 5-7 days and last anywhere between 4-6 months. Every individual is different, and the dosage differs. Men, in general, require higher doses of anti-wrinkle injections.

After the procedure, the patient is expected to:

- Not lie down for 6 hours

- No massaging of the forehead

- No headband or cap or hat

- No steam room/sauna

- No gym/exercise for 24 hours

- Avoid alcohol for a day or so after the procedure

Suitable if you have active frown lines or an “angry” appearance or forehead lines/wrinkles

Indicated for wrinkles at the side of the eye.

A combination treatment of forehead, frown lines and crows feet

Neurotoxin is injected into the masseter/jaw muscle. This treatment is indicated for problems of jaw clenching/bruxism. Also indicated for jaw slimming for enlarged masseter muscles to improve appearance over time. The treatment is expected to “shrink” muscle over time as a result of relaxing it.

Indicated for individuals who sweat a lot easily. Neurotoxin is injected into the armpit area and it blocks signals responsible for sweating, stopping the sweat glands from producing too much sweat. Re-treatment is needed in 4-6 months.

Indicated for individuals with excessive gum display under the upper lip. Neurotoxin is injected into the muscle responsible for lifting the upper lip when smiling. It will then cause a relaxation of the muscle and a drop in upper lip. Client will then be able to smile without showing off too much gum.

A dimpled look to the chin can occur when the mentalis muscle is contracted. By injecting neurotoxin to the chin muscle, it causes the area to be in a relaxed state, thereby improving the dimpling.

The use of neurotoxin into the depressor angularis muscle can cause elevation and lifting of corners of the mouth.

Neurotoxin can be injected into prominent neck bands causing relaxation and smoothening of the neck, resulting in a younger appearance.

Hair Fillers

Hair loss (alopecia) is a fairly common occurrence. While it’s more prevalent in older adults, anyone can experience it.
Hair loss can develop gradually over years or happen abruptly. Depending on the underlying cause, it may be temporary or permanent.
Hair filler is an injectable treatment whereby sustained release complex of Peptides are injected into the scalp, where there are hair follicles.  We have other treatments such as growth factors to stimulate hair growth.

By doing so, the benefits are:

Increased blood circulation to the scalp and hair follicles
Revitalising hair follicles and inducing hair growth
Delivers nutrients to the scalp and improving blood flow thereby assisting with hair growth.

Generally 6 sessions are required 2-4 weeks apart. Repeat sessions can be administered as well as maintenance treatments can be continued.

Threadlift treatment

A  thread lift is a type of procedure whereby temporary suture like material are used to produce a  visible "lift" in the underlying skin tissue. This has the effect of pulling the skin back slightly and therefore lifting and tightening the face. In addition to being ideal for lifting the skin, threads provoke the body's "healing response" by causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas. This is important because of the vital role collagen plays in the aging process.

As we get older, our bodies gradually produce less and less collagen, which results in  loss of volume and there is no longer support for underlying tissues. Threads can be used in areas such as midface, lower face and eyebrows for an eyebrow lift.
